Acctg Ops Sr Manager
Responsibilities Implement PepsiCo policies and procedures that support “effective control environment” over “S2C” cycle Enable periodic/quarterly/annual submission of Gross Revenue, D&A, Account Receivable within the specified time frame (ie. 5 business days) including detailed explanation of changes Preparation and ownership of OCF forecast for Accounts Receivable, Collections, DSO, Bad Debt, and strong follow up, tracking during the year, giving guidance to Sales Team Ensure development of relevant & reliable information to all stake holders within the specified time frame (QoE, BAIC, CoCC, BSR etc.) Manage annual KPMG audit process over “S2C” cycle including timely implementation of audit recommendations Lead continuous development of the compliance and effectiveness of control environment for “S2C” cycle by compliance department and/or RMCA including timely implementation of audit recommendations Manage annual PwC audit process over “S2C” cycle including timely implementation of audit recommendations Ensure that all processes and transactions are in line with all local tax laws and regulations that resulted no material tax penalties Implement customer risk management process to sustain business growth while balancing risk Identify control opportunities and process optimization/harmonization opportunities (Bev and Snacks) and develop projects for S2C, with Sales, Sales Support, and Logistics teams to improve controls and effectiveness Develop productivity initiatives that deliver cost effectiveness (reduction of D&A) Identify process optimization opportunities for “S2C” cycle that improve the accuracy, time and cost effectiveness Timely review of each positions “time sheet” to make sure all optimization/simplification opportunities used Build DRs capability to prepare future benches, provide challenging assignments and projects backed up with coaching Create an efficient organization with strong opportunities for DRs2 to grow and be potential benches Ensure a continuous development plan (both technical and PepsiCo Leadership skills) for DRs and DR2s is in place, track development Deliver regular team meetings to improve communication/collaboration within whole team (2 way expectation/information sharing) Up to date accountabilities and skill requirements (both technical & PepsiCo Leadership skills) for all positions Qualifications Requires 12 to 15 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in financial operations and control. Fluency in English & Turkish, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional setting. Solid knowledge and expertise in financial management, including reporting, analysis, and budgeting. Familiarity with GCS and the ability to ensure compliance with financial and operational controls. Proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, guide, and manage teams to achieve organizational goals. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Advanced analytical abilities, with a talent for identifying trends, solving complex problems, and making data-driven decisions. Experience working within and managing a matrix organizational structure, ensuring efficient collaboration across departments. Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, fostering a productive and positive work environment. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a CAP certification or MBA is highly preferred. Prior experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, with a deep understanding of its financial and operational nuances. Hands-on experience in auditing processes and compliance, ensuring adherence to financial and operational standards. Expertise in managing cash flow, including forecasting, planning, and optimizing liquidity for organizational needs. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on proactive solutions and addressing challenges effectively to drive results. This role is essential for supporting the financial stability and growth of the organization by ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic planning.
