As a Systems Engineer specializing in accuracy, you will be part of the Systems Engineering team responsible for developing and realizing new mechatronic concepts.
In this role, you will ensure system accuracy throughout the entire development cycle, from design specifications to customer rollout. Key responsibilities include contributing to system design discussions, setting up error budgeting models, defining calibration mechanisms, and verifying accuracy through testing. You will also support the factory in implementing new platforms and propose design improvements to enhance system performance.
Contribute to architectural discussions regarding system design. Set up error budgeting models and predict system accuracy. Define calibration and correction mechanisms. Verify error budgets on test machines through module and system testing. Take a hands-on approach by creating calibration routines or measurement scripts using low-level machine scripting interfaces. Ensure machine prototypes are operational during the early system integration phase.Support the factory in introducing newly developed platforms. Propose design changes to improve system accuracy and specify requirements for software implementation. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field. Relevant experience in high-accuracy equipment environments, with expertise in error budgeting, kinematics, statistics, and data analysis. Proficient in Matlab. Familiarity with scripting (LUA/Python preferred). Well-developed communication skills. Proactive and practical mindset, with a strong drive to meet challenging requirements. Team player with the ability to collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to solve complex technical challenges.
The Team
As an Accuracy Specialist, you will join the Systems Engineering team, which includes Systems Engineers, as well as Motion, Vision, and Accuracy Specialists.
