ACM Asset Manager

What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to support one of our new partners, ensuring seamless integration and optimal asset management practices. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive asset management services, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing our partnership's efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Provides asset management support across the organization.
• Oversees the full lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal.
• Monitors asset performance, ensuring they meet business / functional requirements and ensuring timely and appropriate upgrade or replacement.
• Manages proper decommissioning and disposal of obsolete assets.
• Ensures processes are followed to optimize software usage – preventing underutilization or over-licensing.
• Helps forecast future asset needs based on organizational growth and technology trends.
• Analyzes usage, cost, performance and related data, ensuring this information informs decision-making and planning.
• Monitors software usage across the organization to optimize licensing costs and ensure proper allocation.
• Helps manage audits to prevent software license violations and avoid potential penalties.
• Develops detailed reports on asset status, usage, cost efficiency and lifecycle trends.
• Oversees warranty agreements, service contracts and maintenance plans / schedules to ensure timely repairs and replacements.
• Provides insights into potential areas for cost savings and process improvement.
• Leads or plays a key role in the implementation of new asset management tools and technologies.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experienceGood understanding of ITIL V4 processes and principalsStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood ability to create and document processesGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishHigh degree of understanding of Microsoft Excel database concepts
