ACQ Project Manager

Atlas Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to provide leadership and guidance in managing projects for our rapidly growing organization. Our ideal candidate is well versed in identifying customer and client needs while managing a dynamic project. This position will serve as a Project Manager directly supporting the Customer. Our Project Manager will be accountable for schedule, management, and quality while building client relationships, developing personnel, and providing exceptional customer service. They will also participate in key business meetings and support the preparation, review, and presentation of customer briefs. Our Project Manager will be an attentive, discerning, dynamic, innovative, and engaged leader experienced in the details necessary to successfully execute DoD contracts and the activities of their team.

In this role, you will work closely with government and industry partners, engineers, and product teams to provide the most efficient use of resources and technologies to deliver exceptional customer experience. You will work with project stakeholders to identify appropriate resources and develop schedules to ensure timely project completion. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, collaborate with resources, and balance business needs and technical constraints to maximize business benefit.

Apply your project management and technical skills to ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions for the U.S. Coast Guard through our U.S. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) partnership. You’ll be based at USCG HQ in Washington, DC, with travel to various CONUS locations as requested.

You Will:

Work onsite at USCG Headquarters 3-4 days/week Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Work closely with technical experts/project leads to ensure timely completion of deliverables with focus on meeting project commitments and quality control Define, communicate, and deliver on project milestones, deliverables, and service levels Measure project performance to stay within established timelines, while providing exceptional quality Direct and execute requirements as defined for our government customer Assist with estimation, preparation, and justification in planning, programming, and budgeting activities Collaborate with the project team, synergizing them to mission success Practice, instill, and implement Atlas' core values, vision, and goals to maximize the contribution to the company's key product and service offerings Provide leadership, guidance, and demonstrate a mature project management approach in managing technology projects Work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their issues, and/or exceed their expectations Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives. Work directly with the customer and portfolio technical lead to improve Change Management, Cost Control, and overall Project tracking/reporting Provide management and leadership to project team through training, communication, feedback, and regular interaction with team members Monitor project requirements to ensure cost, time schedules, and deliverables are met on time or in advance of customer requirements and expectations

You Have:

US Citizenship Possession of, and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance or higher Minimum 5+ years’ project management experience within USCG/DHS to include budgeting, managing risk, cost, schedule, and performance Experience in the Intelligence Community; within Coast Guard preferred Understand customer requirements and ensure they are met and/or exceeded through regular communication with the government project lead and team to solicit feedback Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio); Experience building POA&M within MS Project (intermediate to advanced) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strategic thinking ability Experience with requirements gathering and creating requirements traceability matrices or functional requirements documents 5-10 years’ experience serving as a team lead or in a leadership position coordinating tasking with a multitude of team members Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD policies and procedures Experience seeing a project through to completion from requirements to deployment and experience working with customers Strong financial mind; expertise in developing and managing complex budgets; specific knowledge of the USCG budgeting cycle is a plus Acute attention to detail; strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Math, preferred. Other and non-degree are acceptable with commensurate experience Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Minimum five (5) years’ experience leading a highly technical workforce

Master's degree or equivalent experience Lean Six Sigma certification US Coast Guard and/or US Navy project and program experience Prior USCG experience, specifically within the intel sector at the programmatic level or in depth technical knowledge of USCG C5I systems
