KBR is seeking a Lead Acquisitions Manager to be responsible for the overall acquisition efforts on the contract to include the management of program acquisition and IT Procurement and Asset Management support. The Lead Acquisition Manager will be the primary point of contact for the Contractor support allocated to acquisition support.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Oversee the accomplishment of all acquisition-related tasks and ensure the delivery of associated CDRLs

Guide acquisition activities across multiple teams in accordance with contract requirements, procedures, and guidelines

Provide technical and analytical guidance to acquisition project teams. Recommend and take action to direct analysis and solutions to problems

Able to manage and support acquisition and IT Procurement and Asset Management personnel

Invests time in teaching less experienced staff

Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Shall meet at a minimum the standards of a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II in Contracting or National Contracts Management Association (NCMA) certification with recent and relevant experience in Government acquisition planning and execution

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or scientific field (such as engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, operations research, engineering management or computer science.

10 years or more of Government acquisition experience, that includes at least 5 years of technical management on projects of similar complexity and scope

Experience with working with senior management on acquisition planning and execution

Experience leading a technical team to achieve results in acquisition, contract management, and IT Asset Management fields.

Relevant acquisition experience with the Intelligence Community organizations

Travel Requirements:

Travel Required: CONUS and OCONUS may be required; Up to 10%
