Acquisition Logistician, Senior
General Summary: Performs complex logistics support on policies and procedures to systems and subsystems, equipment procurement activities, project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. · Provide product assistance to the PM and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM’s duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager. The Contractor shall also provide assistance to the sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material. · Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. · Develop, modify, prepare and/or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems ensuring all pertinent supply data is captured and recorded. · Assist in: developing integrated support requirements for system and equipment design; developing support requirements that are related to readiness objectives and design; conducting specialized analyses on total life cycle cost, logistics supportability, and warranty; and providing technical assistance and consultant expertise. · Assist with: developing pre and post award documentation for Total Life Cycle Logistics (TLCL) support; performing technical analyses, planning, and execution and assist the government in the review of technical specifications and documentation in support of Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) efforts to facilitate and update sustainment issues identified as related to the LCSP and Integrated Support Plan (ISP). Required SkillsRequired Experience One of the following combinations of education/experience: + + MA/MS degree, twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD -OR- + BA/BS, fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD -OR- + HS Diploma, twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD + Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing and spreadsheets. + U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
