Mission Pet Health (formerlly Southern Veterinary Partners) is seeking a qualified Acquisitions Coordinator to join our growing M&A team, and be an essential partner to our Business Development and Operations teams. This individual will collaborate with HQ departments, including business development, business intelligence, accounting, HR, and field operations teams in the closing process of potential acquisitions. Over the past 12 months, this individual would have played an integral part in helping our M&A and operations teams acquire 75+ hospitals. This role will assist the Acquisitions Managers on projects within the M&A team and regular coordination of tasks in the hospital acquisition process. This role will be an integral part of the M&A team as well as have the opportunity to work on other ad hoc projects as part of a growing company. Responsibilities Support the financial & legal due diligence with, but not limited to, the following tasks: Set up initial client tools—previous experience with Google Sheets, Excel, Dropbox, Monday.com and Salesforce preferred Participate in seller kick high-leveloff calls to establish rapport / have high level insight into all current acquisitions Help train sellers on tools and leverage remote capabilities for pulling electronic reports to streamline the closing process Help ensure consistency across Acquisition Managers’ processes Working in tandem with AMs for the entirety of each deal to ensure support from start to finish Constantly look for ways to improve client experience Monitor process timelines and help push progress throughout the entirety of each deal Support new acquisition employee onboarding (white glove staff introduction): Prepare materials and organize onboarding meetings for hospitals Own the primary google sheets templates and all updates for each deal throughout the closing process Collaborate with Mission Pet Health teams on thorough information transfer – Business Development to Acquisition Managers to Integrations to Operations Identify opportunities to support and improve experience for DVMs and Sellers – strong support for the associate contract process Cross functional collaboration and projects: Strong collaboration with contracts team, Operations, HR, finance, etc. on a daily basis – strong communication skills required Utilize Power BI to pull production data, help with the mid-closing process deal introduction presentation to Integration and Operations team (update of IC deck for better / more accurate data we received through diligence up to that point) Serve as the information bridge – own the collaboration and information sharing as the growing company departments evolve Communicating and scheduling with outside companies for property inspections Handle all new state DVM licensing and renew active licenses yearly for C-Suite. AM support and development – opportunity to develop skills for career trajectory Help develop process that allows Acquisitions Coordinator to “sub-in” for AMs in deal process to make PTO feasible. Continue to observe / develop Acquisition Manager skill set with potential to grow into role over time. Focus on client experience (Happy Sellers) Own the assignment of Mission Pet Health Mentor & Execution of Surveys and Check Ins – exposure to C-suite Coordinate seller celebratory gift packages at LOI signing and closing week celebrations Work closely with BD Directors, Inside Sales, and AM teams to ensure proper identification of Mission Pet Health advocates and ensure follow through of target list strategy to maximize warm leads to new prospects Opportunity to own projects that support process improvement and higher seller satisfaction – Mission Pet Health is always looking for opportunities to improve the process. This role will be perfectly situated to identify and help roll out strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 2 years of work experience, preferably in retail, customer service, sales, healthcare or other multi-location industry preferred Energetic and motivated with strong communication skills—both with clients and colleagues Willingness to dive in to help support Acquisition Processes- both internally and externally facing Excellent project management, attention to detail, and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and deals concurrently Benefits Work with an organization recognized as #1 in Healthcare by Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces in 2024.
