Acting Entertainment Booker - 4 month contract

Leveraging the global and local power of talent is critical to bringing our brands to life, and the Talent & Entertainment hub is responsible for securing and booking talent across all platforms for the Lux and Lifestyle brands.   Access to top tier talent is key to make magazines stand out on the newsstand, help drive revenue through our content, and to help lock in sponsors for future brand events.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Entertainment Booker works over Luxury and Women’s Lifestyle, supporting the Entertainment Editors in the Talent hub as well as the Group Entertainment Director, to deliver top tier talent, and associated content, for print, digital, video and events.

They serve a crucial support function in making sure that a steady flow of ground-breaking talent is booked effectively and efficiently across the brands for print, video and events, as well as supporting with content across all channels, and ensuring the Talent team are aware of all new entertainment releases with an up-to-date release schedule. 

They oversee all video bookings for the Luxury and Women’s Lifestyle titles, liaising directly with the brand digital teams and the video team, about relevant releases and is key is setting these up.

They support the talent hub with writing, production admin on photo shoots, brand projects and with the day to day running of the department.

 

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in, plus a wealth of knowledge and contacts in the entertainment and pop culture industry and have experience in working in this arena across Luxury and / or Lifestyle brands, ideally for a consumer publication.  They will have experience in booking, handling and producing celebrity-based shoots, events and projects.  Interviewing and writing experience is also desirable.
