Kforce has a client that is seeking an Active Directory Engineer in Spring, TX.
Summary:
The IAM Operations, Active Directory/Senior Engineer is responsible for being the technical lead for the design, installation, integrations, and deployment of Active Directory (AD) and Enterprise Directory (ED).
The IAM Operations AD/ED professional is responsible for:
* Assuring compliance of all directory objects and configurations with Company Policy, Standards, and Specifications
* Evaluating connectivity requests related to corporate directories, assuring proper security controls are in place
* Performing daily directory administration tasks associated with Active Directory forests, domains, group policy objects, accounts, and security controls
* Developing appropriate solutions and configurations to enable application teams, while assuring security principles of least privilege and segregation of duties
* Reviewing and approving exception requests related to Active Directory accounts or policies
* Defining and configuring group policy to enable application teams, while assuring compliance with Company Policy, Standards, and Specifications
* Reviewing and evaluating various Active Directory reports to determine compliance with security standards, and determines mitigating controls and solutions as needed
* Implements new Active Directory solutions as required by IAM architects, development teams, and Global Security teams
* Consults with and advises application teams on proper usage of directory accounts to enable application functionality and security
* Oversees the work of other support engineers as needed, assuring that tasks are completed in a timely and compliant manner
* Configures new domain controllers, performs patching of domain controllers, and evaluates log files for system errors and security concerns
* Assures that the identity lifecycle management process is functioning in compliance with Company Policy, Standards, and Specifications
