The Active Directory team is responsible for Architecture and Design of Active Directory service end to end. Including designing or assessing Domain designs, deployments, assessing risks and management of authentication services. To be successful as an Active Directory Engineer, you should:
Experience with Windows Server Operating System (2012/2016/2019) configuration, performance management and troubleshooting on both physical and virtual environment.
Experience in supporting Active Directory services in a Multi-Forest environment running on Windows 2012/2016/2019 with key focus on LDAP, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, NTLM, Kerberos and Certificates. Understanding Key AD roles and how to troubleshoot. AD Domain Controller Performance, Replication. AD Trusts, Sites and Services are something person has worked with and is familiar with.
Ability to orient themselves quickly even in topics that might be new. Importantly being able to summarize back to audience what was discussed, decisions and actions or next steps required.

Previous experience with other technologies that could help in solving business or IT challenges – Virtualization, Cloud, Networks, Storage, Orchestration, other technologies.
Quest vendor Active Directory related toolset experience
PowerShell knowledge. Had applied scripting to solve IT Admin challenges. Scaling getting information or getting something done across multiple assets.
Microsoft certification in the Windows Server OS or Active Directory space

To develop, and evolve the banks technology architecture through relevant solutions, strategies and execution plans aligned to and prioritized by business and technology objectives, including the development, evolution and adoption of foundational platforms and products.
