Buffalo Center is seeking energetic & passionate Recreation Aides to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. Prior long term care experience is required!

Duties Include:

Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interestsWork directly with Residents on units; without direct supervisionOrganize and obtain supplies and equipment as requestedAssist recreation specialists & set up program areas as neededKeep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activitiesAssist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate unitsBe familiar with established emergency procedures

Requirements:

Positive attitude and energy is a must!MUST have prior long term care experiencePrevious experience with geriatric population preferredStrong computer skills necessaryAbility to work effectively as a team memberStrong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
