University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is currently seeking a Full Time Activity Assistant to work in our beautiful community. Schedules available: Full time (hours range from 9:30am-7:00pm); 3 days on and 3 days off Wages: $18.00 - $21.49 / hr DOE What you’ll be doing: You will implement therapeutic activity and life enrichment programs in the facility. You will support volunteers and lead holistically designed activity programs that support person centered care philosophy and a high level of care. About you: Experience in a senior living facility, recreation therapy, or a related field is preferred. Current and valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred. Working knowledge in gerontology, dementia, physiology and anatomy, and/or recreation therapy. Communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, team building skills, and/or leadership skills. Computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
