Activities Assistant Director - (Sippican Healthcare Center)
Full Time / Part Time - Experienced Position, 8:30am  5:00pm
$22.00 - $25.00 an hour

Essential Functions:
- Plans, schedules and implements activity program of individual and group activities based on residents' needs, abilities and interests
- Completes the activity component of the resident assessment within the time period requested by the state regulations for the new admissions annually
- Identifies and documents in the residents' care plan the activity interests, needs and problems of the resident. 
- Acts as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and all related resident care conferences
- Plans and conducts Residents' Council Meetings monthly
- Follows Residents' Rights and policies 

Prerequisites:
- High school diploma and completion of the Activity Director's Basic Course required and at least one year experience assisting or directing an Elderly Recreational Program; or
- At least two (2) years experience as an Activities Assistant; or
- Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or related field and prior experience with the elderly.
