JOB REQUIREMENTS Education High school education or equivalent with leadership qualities Experience Prefer individual who has previous experience working with elderly.  Helpful experience includes providing daily activities for the residents and meeting psycho/social needs. Physical This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. Frequently walks, use hands to finger equipment and controls.  Stands; sits; reaches with hands and arms; stoops;  kneels; crouches, and taste and smell.  Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.  Specific vision abilities required by the job included close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Other:  Must be able to work flexible hours.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.  Must be able to relate to residents, family members and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances. JOB SUMMARY The Activities Coordinator will solely be responsible for the daily activities and social needs of the residents.  The Activities Coordinator will coordinate volunteers and/or lead directly activities for the well being of the resident.
