Responsibilities Lead all activity programs throughout the facility within established budgetary guidelinesPromote positive relationships with individuals, businesses, and organizations in the community through outings and activities provided by volunteersMaintain the activities calendar of events to provide a variety of resident and family centered experiencesMonitor and prepare the department budget and financial statements to meet revenue and budget targetsResponsible for hiring, coachig and retaining a high performing activities teamAbide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan Qualifications Must have atleast 2-3 years of experienceCertified in the field of Therapeutic Activities or Activities preferredMust be able to work occasional weekends, holidays, and eveningsKnowledge of special needs and limitations of elderly and disabledKnowledge of methods and techniques used to include residents and involve them in activitiesMust possess patience, compassion and excellent communication skills as well as a cheerful dispositionKnowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards related to the provision of an Activities program
