Your Role
We are looking for natural leaders to join our Activities and Events department in a year-round school for international students. Activity Leaders support the Activities and Events Manager and the Activities Coordinator in organising and delivering a wide range of activities, excursions and events for our student body.
This is a flexible, part-time role on a zero-hour contract, with potential for full time, permanent employment.
Responsibilities
Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities and day tripsCreates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer serviceTakes responsibility for health and safety of all students including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and proceduresResearch excursion destinations, leads a guided tour at the destination and gives interesting information and facts to studentsLiaises with co-leaders and the Activities and Events Manager/Activities Coordinator to discuss how to improve future activities and gives a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planningAttends and assists the Activities and Events Manager with large eventsEnsures the EF Student Code of Conduct is followed by all students at all times and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems

Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable, outgoing personalityConfident in leading and managing groups of studentsHighly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervisedAbility to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressureCustomer service minded and quality orientedAwareness and appreciation of cultural differences.Excellent communicator both with students, colleagues, and external clientsA flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essentialFluency in EnglishAll offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two referencesRight to work in the UK at commencement of employment
