Job Description

Join ALPADIA’s team to make summer 2025 an unbelievable experience! We are looking for highly motivated people, who have the ability to engage and inspire young students, and who are looking for an enriching and educational experience themselves. 

Your role:

Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our carePrepare and lead afternoon and evening activities and/or Premium activities, giving thought to staging to ensure all students enjoy each activityPrepare and lead excursion sessions, giving thought to cultural immersion and student safetyReview session plans and excursion material in advance of sessions along with corresponding risk assessmentsDeliver the standard of quality that our students and stakeholders expect of AlpadiaBe friendly and approachable to develop positive relationships with students that help to enhance their overall experienceManage students’ behaviour, with a judicious awareness of the need to sanction or encourage as appropriatePrioritize the safety of students more than anything else, following our Safeguarding and Health and Safety proceduresSupervise students’ free time actively and professionally. Ensure rules in the residence are always followed and the accommodation is kept tidy. Ensure the students go to bed and wake up at the appropriate times, accompanying them, as necessaryAssist in the check-in/check-out procedureSupervise students at mealtimesEnsure you complete all additional tasks as given by the Camp Manager

Qualifications

Your profile:

Essential:

Able to lead, motivate and encourage large groups of teenagers Excellent communicator Ability to work under pressure Excellent organisational and effective communication skillsA commitment to delivering exceptional customer serviceBeing flexible and adaptable to change Display a positive, can do attitudeAbility to work as part of a team and contribute to its successExperience of working with junior students in education or care settings

Desirable:

Experience working in holiday camps or similar organisations Keen interest in culture and sport (preferably with relevant qualifications such as National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or First Aid qualificationExperience of working with international students Previous experience of running an activity/leisure programme
