Our Opportunity
We have a new exciting opportunity at Thales Underwater Systems for an Activity Manger to lead our manufacturing cell based in Templecombe.
Your role will be to lead the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing processes within the work cell and work closely with other departments. The role of Activity Manager is to ensure all team members understand performance expectations and meet the departments set KPI’s.
The post holder will exercise overall responsibility for good housekeeping, high standards of cleanliness and compliance to all Thales procedures within their area.
The Activity Manager will report to the APRU Manager, and will work with the Team Leader to develop and implement TIOM minimum standards to deliver operational excellence.
About You
We are looking for an individual with strong experience of successfully managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
Someone who is a strategic thinker with the foresight to plan effectively and the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward progress. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships across teams and the wider business, promoting open communication and teamwork. This will ensure smooth operations and alignment with our company’s goals and vision, driving success at every level.

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
