About the Role

This role will be responsible for performing Prophet modelling and maintenance, conducting ICAAP and stress testing, and participating in strategic planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Perform Prophet modelling and maintenance tasks.

Enhance models for various reporting requirements, including IFRS.

Guide junior team members or interns in modelling tasks.

Liaise with the pricing team to comprehend new product features and campaigns.

Collaborate with AIAB modelling for model submission and intergration.

2. Conduct ICAAP and Stress Testing

Coordinate internal timelines and tasks to ensure process efficiency.

Address queries related to the ICAAP and stress testing.

Support related teams by providing necessary cash flows, information on new products, and handling ad-hoc queries

Collaborate with the ERM team on the ICAAP and stress testing

Communicate effectively with supervisor and HOD.

3. Involve in Strategic Planning

Initiate discussions on the timelines and tasks to ensure process efficiency.

Collaborate with the finance team to provide budgeted TWCI, and request input on budgeted expenses.

Address queries related to the local budget and projected capital position.

Analyse potential impacts on APTB's capital position considering upcoming regulations, company direction, and product strategy.

4. Perform other responsibilities

Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisor to meet operational or other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in actuarial science.Minimum 3 years of working experience.Good exam progression with Actuarial Professional Exam in any actuarial professional body.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Must have knowledge and experience using Prophet, Microsoft Visual Foxpro and Microsoft Excel.
