Actuarial Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Guy Carpenter Analytics (GCA) team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in our Warsaw office.

The Actuarial Analyst is mainly responsible for providing analytical and actuarial support as a member of Guy Carpenter Analytics (GCA) to clients and brokers in the Emerging Markets region. The main focus of the role is to deliver high quality analytical support for our clients and prospects to add value to Guy Carpenter brokerage services. Secondarily, the focus will be on promoting Guy Carpenter tools and standalone analytical services.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Actuarial Analyst

We will count on you to:

Prepare actuarial analysis regarding design, pricing, and risk transfer of reinsurance programmesAnalyse the impact of reinsurance structure on capital needs with a focus on Solvency IISupport brokers by providing additional scenario analysis and other analytical inputPresent and discuss findings and analysis to clients and other community membersDevelop and maintain internal actuarial applications, identifying potential for improvement of the existing applicationsEstablish relationships within Guy Carpenter company and with industry peersAdhere to GCA quality assurance procedures and professional standards

What you need to have:

Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, quantitative methods, or other relevant disciplineGood command of English both spoken and writtenKnowledge of non-life actuarial techniquesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced general computer literacyGood communication skillsMature and professional approach toward given tasks and responsibilities
