Primary Responsibilities:
Designing analytics and extracting data leveraging technical skills in R, Python, Excel, SAS, and SQL Lead quantitative analysis of health care claims utilization and cost data Lead the development and design of complex data programs to construct detailed data sets leveraged for client reporting/analytics Participate in client relationships, client communications Support in the development of junior analysts Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Engineering, Economics, or another related technical field from an accredited college or university On the Actuarial exam track, having passed 6 or more Actuarial exams from IFOA or IAI or SOA Total relevant work experience of 7+ years in Financial or Insurance domain Of which 3+ years experience in dealing with health care claims experience and/or Pharmacy claims experience (i.e. understanding of costs, expected claims, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, pharmacy terminology) Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel Proficiency in either R, SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, VBA, or predictive modeling Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information concisely to all stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, effectively moving multiple projects or workstreams within a project forward concurrently#GEN
