The Role
Overview of the role:
As a P&C / Health Consultant in ICT, you will be the workstream lead/project manager on general insurance (GI) and/or Health projects, and will be responsible for managing/delivering on a variety of projects including pricing & predictive analytics, IFRS 17, reserve valuation, RBC, merger & acquisitions etc. for our GI / Health clients mainly across Southeast Asia.
You will be responsible for reviewing the analysis and explaining the results and will work closely with the other analysts/consultants and project lead to ensure timely delivery of projects. Many of the projects will involve using WTW’s market leading actuarial software and techniques to produce customized solutions for our clients. In addition to ensuring the successful and timely delivery of the project/workstream, you will also be responsible for client communication, project management, and business development activities.

The Requirements
Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related quantitative fields3 - 8 years of general insurance (GI) and Health experience, preferably with some consulting or regional experience. Candidates with less than 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Analyst positionGood progress with actuarial exams from recognised International Actuarial BodiesStrong technical understanding and working experience on IFRS 17, reserving, pricing, claims/underwriting analytics, data science, M&A across GI and/or Health businesses. Candidates with both GI and Health experience will be assessed favourablySelf-driven achiever, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficientlyFamiliarity with WTW’s software (e.g. Emblem, Radar, ResQ and/or ResQ Financial Reporter) is a plusConsulting or regional experience is a plusFamiliar with insurance regulations and market in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and/or IndonesiaEqual Opportunity Employer
