Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 200 staff and growing, along with increasing range and ownership of deliverables, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more.

We are looking for someone with:

Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related fieldAt least 5 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial ServicesAssociate designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP), with meaningful progress towards Fellowship.Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python or similar programsDemonstrated experience in applying actuarial concepts to independently model and analyze actuarial financial metricsProven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information, results, and recommendations to various levels across the organization.Strong ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, for self and others.

On the job you will:

Experience Analytics and Monitoring Development

Develop attributes and modules for new experience studies and experience monitoringPerform experience analytics on observable experiences, e.g. grouping, breaking down and analyzing the data to support the experience studiesPerform data quality control measures to ensure that data is consistent, reliable and appropriate for the purpose of the study and monitoringEnsure the analytics are conducted according to GFA requirements set out in Corporate Pricing Standard, Corporate Valuation Standard and applicable guidelines to experience studiesDocument the data process and methodology undertaken

Ongoing Experience Monitoring and Inforce Management

Perform and report the monitored experience periodically

Audit and Regulatory Support

Maintaining documentation and evidence of controls upon requestsSupport all related inquiries including but not limited to additional analysis upon requests

Other Support

Provide ad hoc information to internal and external stakeholders upon requestEnsure that changes to the calculations and software program meet appropriate approvals and change management requirements.Implementation of performances and tracking and Client feedback mechanism upon completion of each project.
