About the Role
Lead the sub-team to support end-to-end IFRS 17 reporting and responsible for IFRS 17 reporting in Actuarial functionRoles and Responsibilities:
IFRS Reporting & Management (50%)
Oversee the preparation, delivery, and analysis of IFRS financial results on timely basis as per AIA Group requirements
Provide detailed analysis on the movements in key financials and communicate to senior management the key drivers in the results
Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and group accounting policy
Technical Assessments for IFRS 17 (20%)
Lead the technical discussions, manage the deep-dive assessments and provide insights on the financial implications
People Management (20%)
Lead and manage the teams in order to enhance employee competencies, engagement and performance levels
Manage and motivate staff by identifying and creating opportunities to enhance competencies & performance
Coach and mentor high performers / potential staff in order to build a strong team
Project Management (10%)
Work with the team and other relevant parties (such as Human Resources, IT, other departments, etc.) to deliver the expected project results to support Company strategy.

Minimum Job Requirements:
University / College graduate with at least 6-8 years of relevant experienceAttained Fellowship in Actuarial professional examinationGood managerial skill and analytical mindExperience in people management and coachingAbility to investigate complex technical issues and communicate the findings and implicationsSound knowledge in IFRS 17-related actuarial and accounting system, e.g. SAS sub-ledgerStochastic modelling experience with Prophet ALS will be an advantageGood command of written and spoken English and ChineseProficient in MS Office and data analysis techniques is essentialOthers:
