Purpose of the Role

 

As an Actuarial Valuation Manager your role is to deliver periodic valuation reports related to local and/or PFRS7/17 reporting as well as audit and local regulatory reports both internal and external.  You are expected to deliver accurate reports in a timely manner.  As well as, expected to be significantly involved in providing actuarial support for planning and strategic dialogues, and to special projects.

 

Responsibilities of the Role

 

Produce the Local Actuarial Reporting monthly and quarterly process and deliverables, including insurance provisions or reserves and business projections. Provide requirements for internal and external auditors during periodic interim and year-end reviews. Produce the Annual Statement schedules annually as required by the local regulator, including insurance provisions, premium schedules, reserves projections and sensitivities. Actively contribute to the development of PFRS 17 solutions and ensuring readiness and compliance to PFRS17 reporting.                                                                                                               

 

Requirements for the Role

 

College graduate, preferably Associate/Affiliate of ASP/SOA With at least five (5) years professional experience in Finance, Risk and Actuarial area With at least five (2) years of management experience in Corporate Actuarial area With familiarity on application of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and PFRS 9/17 standards Strong conceptual and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills People oriented and team player. Works effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
