Actuary - Remote

Position Summary:

The Actuary reports directly to the MIG CFO.  This position performs complex actuarial analyses for the Health Plans for all lines of businesses. Duties include but are not limited to: rate adequacy analysis and projection, medical loss ratio trend drivers, financial forecasting, support the development of the Incurred but Not Reported (IBNR) estimates, and assisting with Medicare, Exchange and Medicare Supplemental bid development. The Actuary conducts actuarial modeling/analysis and advises Executive Management on risks and opportunities identified.

This is position is fully Remote.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or related field. Minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams passed. Four (4) years of actuarial experience. Managed care or healthcare experience. 

Preferred:
