Our interns work with many different people to learn and gain hands on experience in actuarial work and data.  This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in starting their career. We will be hiring an intern to learn and grow in a cohort environment.

Responsibilities

Interns are responsible for performing Actuarial related support duties while gaining valuable real-world experience which can be utilized both personally and professionally. Resume builder and stepping stone to a future career in the Insurance Industry.

 

Assist with improving automation and building efficiencies to existing tasksAnalyze internal and external dataAssist with projectsAssist with actuarial analysis (pricing and reserving work) Qualifications Current college student (and/or recent graduate) working towards a degree program in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be willing to work collaboratively and embrace innovative ideas and processesMust be technology focused and proficient in the use of a computer and its applicationsPassing of one actuarial exam preferredProficiency with Excel and SQL preferredFamiliarity with basic insurance concepts through coursework preferred Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting firms.

This is an hourly position (non-exempt). The actual salary for this position includes:
Hourly: $15.00-20.00 per hour
