The Japan Clinical Monitoring team is growing, and we are seeking a full-time an Associate Director/Director to join our Clinical Operations team. This position will allow you to join a key team in the success of the company and supporting the strategic development of the Clinical Monitoring function in Japan. A strong understanding of Clinical Monitoring and how it is integrated with other clinical operations functions is required. This position is based in our Tokyo office; however, will be supporting the development of CRA Managers in our Tokyo and Osaka offices.
Responsibilities Direct supervision of CRA management to ensure effective line management;Oversight of CRA resourcing/allocation across studies and sites;Participate in effective planning of Clinical Monitoring recruitment and retention strategies;Oversight of effective CRA Manager training and oversight strategies; andSupport global/local management of all Clinical Monitoring operational metrics and goals in Japan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of CRO/pharmaceutical industry experience in Clinical Monitoring, including 4+ years as a CRA, and 6+ years as a CRA Manager, preferred;Advanced knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and J-GCP;Strong leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills;Effective English written and verbal communication skills; andProficient knowledge of Microsoft® Office software.
