Hearst Newspapers is looking for a high-energy, problem-solving Ad Services Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX on a hybrid schedule. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for our advertisers, sales executives, and internal teams by managing the post-sale order workflow—from order submission to billing and production.

Manage post-sale ad fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in order setup, billing, and production. Validate orders against agreements, confirm client details, and troubleshoot discrepancies. Work closely with Ad Makeup, Ad Production, and EFD Desk teams to ensure seamless ad delivery. Assist with prepayment processing, invoicing, and collecting payments for applicable accounts. Track and resolve billing discrepancies, order adjustments, and allowances for both print and digital orders. Serve as a resource for sales teams, reinforcing workflows and guiding newer account executives through post-sales processes. Proactively escalate issues, remove roadblocks, and keep projects on track for completion. Test new products and packages in the billing system to support innovation and efficiency.What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. 0-1+ years of digital advertising or media experience is a plus. Knowledge of CRM, OMS, and ad platforms is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proof-reading abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. Ability to work independently while collaborating with sales and production teams.
