Department Overview:

Yahoo Creative is our comprehensive, full-stack creative solution designed to maximize the impact of every impression. Anchored within the DSP, it provides seamless access to audiences and the Yahoo Identity Solutions, supported by a dedicated, full-service team.

Our team of experts delivers a holistic range of creative services on the Yahoo Creative platform. We support the entire process—from pre-sales ideation to post-sales execution—including creative design, development, testing, implementation and ad serving. 

The role:

Within the Yahoo Creative organization, the Ad Solutions Manager team provides full production support for a variety of ad products, both premium and programmatic. These products focus on providing the best in class creative solutions for our advertisers by combining rich immersive experiences with personalized targeting and customized measurement. Day to day responsibilities will include full end to end support for ad campaigns as they progress to launch.

As the Ad Solutions Specialist for the Canadian market, you will play a key role in the team, leading Yahoo Creative’s efforts in the region. You will be responsible for driving revenue through the Yahoo Creative platform. This role involves innovative thinking, client management, and critical analysis, making it an ideal fit for someone who enjoys direct interaction with sales teams and their clients.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Evangelize Yahoo Creative for the Canadian market to drive adoption.

Technical and operational liaison between Sales, Media Agencies, Creative Agencies, and various internal teams for creative strategy and execution.

Organize kickoff calls with clients and other Yahoo team members to review creative specs, set campaign deadlines and make all participants aware of their deliverables.

Responsible for high value campaign launches, including technical setup of the campaign, in close communication with clients, sales teams, and internal developers.

Present creative strategy and solutions in-person and over video to internal and external teams.

Reporting to internal team members and external clients to make campaign optimization recommendations. 

Provide creative guidance, best practice advice, benchmarks, creative expertise & case studies to stakeholders.

Leverage ad performance data, insights, and best-in-class ad execution examples to inform creative strategy.

Job Requirements:

3+ years of digital advertising experience.

Experience working with ad creative and/or design teams.

Strong knowledge of the digital advertising landscape.

Working experience in advertising operations, technical operations, account management or a digital marketing environment.

Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.

Ability to build & deliver presentations and effectively communicate technical concepts to non technical audiences.

Project Management experience - strong time management & organizational skills.

Creative and solution-oriented when faced with problems and challenges.

Ability to analyze complex campaign data and translate into actionable strategy recommendations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment – you are well organized, have excellent attention to detail, complete tasks on short deadlines, and prioritize.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or related discipline (preferred but not required)

Experience with Ad serving technologies and vendors (Innervate, Celtra, Innovid, etc.).

Previous experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO).

Entrepreneurial spirit, drive to take ownership and build a business.

Desire to be on the cutting edge of online display advertising.

The compensation for this position ranges from $52,650.00 - $87,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
