As part of the Market Access team, this individual will report directly to Director, Access & Reimbursement. The incumbent will implement Specialty Access & Reimbursement Strategies to maintain strong and lasting relationships with Health Care Provider Offices, Specialty Pharmacies, Commercial Business units, US Reimbursement and Payment Organizations/Agencies optimizing access and reimbursement to BI Specialty portfolio, while providing clinical expertise and business acumen for the Specialty portfolio across functional teams. Duties & Responsibilities Exhibit strong leadership and relationship skills, continue to build the cross functional model that AR fosters - collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders to successfully achieve BI´s objectives to serve patients and find new solutions to unmet medical challenges. Communicate the value of the Specialty portfolio to both cross-functional BI teams and external stakeholders.Optimize access and reimbursement to BI´s current and future Specialty products by monitoring trends of Payment Organizations/Agencies through case management activities, supporting internal stakeholders including Payer, HEOR, and Brand to support a favorable coverage and policy environment. Liaise with providers to troubleshoot access/reimbursement issues when the HUB is unable to resolve in a timely or optimal outcome.Communicate compliantly and effectively to SP Liaison to optimize patient experience in obtaining BI Specialty portfolio while monitoring trends in specialty access.Provide interpretive guidance regarding specialty market intelligence and proposed solutions to various internal BI stakeholders as to the impact of potential access/reimbursement issues, and competitive contracting information.Works closely with the Field Sales organization and providers to problem solve denials and delayed patient startsDemonstrate through thoughtful partnerships, a compelling vision to outside organizations that provides a competitive advantage for our Specialty franchises.Valued by their customers as a consultative partner who understands and respects the Specialty business and environment.Assist RAAD team with development of current and future training for both new and existing team members.Monitor access and reimbursement trends, both current and future, of specialty landscape.Responsible for monitoring account trends through case management in coordination with Payer Sales Team for key Regional and National Accounts for the Specialty Portfolio.Provide Business Alliances content and expertise to A&R during the Strategic Planning process regarding Customer needs and insights surrounding access and reimbursement for the specialty portfolio and emerging products.RequirementsAD, Access & Reimbursement Requirements:
Bachelor´s Degree from an accredited institution required; Master´s Degree from an accredited preferredExpertise in Specialty and/or Access & Reimbursement including Specialty Sales, HUB services, Specialty Pharmacy and Managed Markets.Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the Healthcare Industry; inclusive of three plus (3+) years in Specialty. National Account experience preferred.Strong understanding and prior experience with the development and implementation of at least one of the following: Co-Pay, Access/HUB vendor selection and management and specialty pharmacy.Prior experience with execution of Service Agreements and/or Data Management.Strong understanding of payer environment/Specialty Access and Reimbursement, Commercial, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and knowledge of Specialty markets.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams to gain alignment and improve business performance.Sr. AD, Access and Reimbursement Requirements:

Compensation Data
