Who We Are

KidSport Adaptive Summer Camp offers children ages 4-11 the opportunity to learn and play a variety of team sports, individual sports, team building games, fitness, and other physical education activities, in a non-competitive and fun sports environment. KidSport Adaptive is specifically designed to address the modifications that may be needed by children with neurodevelopmental or physical differences. Pool time (e.g., instructional swimming and aquatic recreation) will be available each week for campers who are able to safely participate.  Click here to read more about our KidSport Summer Camp programs.

Responsibilities*Provide quality instruction, coaching, and supervision to campers ages 4-11Help campers engage in the physical activitiesSupport a variety of physical, social and cognitive needsPlan daily activities using provided KidSport Game filePrepare and put away equipment dailyMust be available for 9 weeks (June 16-August 15), Monday thru Friday, from 8am-4pm, with a lunch break from 12-1pm. No camp Thursday, July 3rd or Friday, July 4thSome staff will be needed to help supervise lunch. No one will work over 40 hours/weekAvailability during orientation week, June 9-13Desired Qualifications*Experience working with childrenExperience working with children with neurodevelopmental or physical differencesAbility to attend specialized training sessions to support a variety of physical, social and cognitive needs.Work Locations

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

Pay: 15.00/hour
