ADAS Driving Feature System Engineer

Ford China ADAS is expanding engineering and research activities in the field of Automated Driving. The focus is to deliver world-class ADAS and AD solutions & experiences for the Ford and Lincoln vehicle brands. Candidates for consideration will be responsible for supporting research and developmental efforts in automated vehicle technologies ranging from Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to semi- and fully autonomous driving capabilities.  

 

Education Qualification MS/BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science and/or equivalent engineering discipline No. of Years of Experience Ideally 5+ years of experience in ADAS system engineering, modeling, simulation testing or algorithm developing, system and/or component designs.

(Technical Skills)

Demonstrated ability to carry out independent work in a team-based environment Demonstrated ability to develop system and function requirement-based System Modelling Language Demonstrated experience in executing a project from inception to finish across multiple disciplines, e.g., dealing with sensor hardware, data acquisition and analysis, mathematical modeling, algorithm development, application implementation, etc. Knowledge of technologies such as LIDAR, radar, electro-optical sensors, GPS, IMUs, CAN bus etc. Experience with CAN, SOA, FlexRay, UDP, TCP and network routing

 

 

Preferred previous experiences

 

Experience on ADAS feature design such as AEB, ACC, TJA, HWA, etc. Experience on SysML based system engineering tools Experience on presenting results for internal management and at external venues such as conferences Experience on working closely and effectively with internal & external partners – corporations, universities, and automotive suppliers Experience on various vehicle testing on proving ground and public road Functional Skills SysML/MagicDraw Matlab/Simulink C/C++ FMEA
