ADAS DSMC Engineer

Major Responsibilities:
Design and develop Driver State Monitor System (aka. DSMC/DMS) including both camera and ECU for China and global markets Develop system architecture and vision algorithm solution driven by Regulation, Functional Safety and Performance requirements Work closely with feature owners and attribute owners to develop interface specification, functional specification and test specification to ensure robust function supportability in accordance to defined KPIs Lead and work with suppliers on structure hardware design, ECU module design, software release with corresponding test validation & performance calibration to ensure timely engineering deliverables per Ford product development process Responsible for cost optimization and quality improvement for DSMC system Develop and manage ESOW (Engineering Statement Of Work) to ensure all FORD Quality, Design and Engineering requirements being fully cascaded and followed the supplier Manage design & engineering changes caused by interaction commodities, hardware issues & software bugs to improve overall system robustness and quality Support vehicle builds and launch activities and lead issue resolving in a timely manner. Set priorities, plan and execute projects to improve regional quality and make sure best practices are replicated in the regional plants. Support all APQP activities and PPAP sign-offQualification Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering required Minimum of 5 years design experience in Automotive electrical commodities A combination of specialized technical skills in electrical commodities (module, camera) and project management are required ADAS system development experiences, particularly DSMC system In-depth knowledge in camera optical and E/E HW development Familiar with latest EE architecture and vehicle communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and diagnostic Experience in component /system design verification process and test planning/execution, problem solving and issue investigation Experience in Quality/Reliability process including Design FMEA, Process FMEA, Control plan and 8D (or similar problem solving methods) Good English skills in writing, reading, listening and speakingMajor Responsibilities:
