Job Title: Account Development Executive - WA
Job Description
As an Account Development Executive, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join an exciting new delivery program. You will collaborate with Business Development Managers and other local account development executives to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program opportunity, qualify businesses, guide them through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate recruitment events. This role involves travel within the market and significant door-to-door walking.
Responsibilities
+ Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted zip codes, primarily within urban centers and surrounding areas.
+ Present and pitch the program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest.
+ Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application vetting and onboarding process.
+ Track lead activity and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.
+ Support Business Development Managers in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns, town-hall meetings, and coffee chats.
+ Partner with Business Development Managers to collaborate with local champions like chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
+ Partner with Account Managers and other team members to assist newly recruited businesses on launch day and as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned related to the recruitment and retention of businesses.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in field sales and/or customer service.
+ Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
+ A team-first, can-do attitude.
+ Prior experience in sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
+ Professionalism and enthusiasm to work with others with a high sense of urgency.
+ Attention to detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
+ Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology.
+ Ability to be in the market for up to 8 hours.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bilingual in English & Spanish.
+ Experience in prospecting and outbound calls.
+ Sales management skills.
+ Knowledge of a second language such as Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
Work Environment
This role requires significant travel within urban centers and surrounding areas, involving door-to-door walking. You will be working with technologies such as Salesforce to manage lead activities and pipelines. The position offers commission potential and bonuses for applications and successful launches. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
