This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
We are seeking a talented and motivated ETL Developer with a strong background in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, particularly in migrating SSIS packages using lift-shift to ADF and building robust data pipelines.
• Design, develop, and implement ADF pipelines to facilitate data integration from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to migrate existing SSIS packages into ADF.
• Create and manage data transformation processes, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ADF pipelines and SSIS packages, optimizing performance and resolving issues.
• 3-4 years of experience in ETL development with a strong focus on Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
• Proven experience in migrating SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory, with a thorough understanding of both platforms.
• Proficiency in data transformation, data cleansing, and data integration best practices.
• Experience working with various data sources, such as SQL databases, APIs, and cloud storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake) is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning of SQL queries.
