Adjunct Art- Basic Jewelry Design
Description/Job Summary Students work with recycled materials, silver, brass, copper, and other metals to make rings, pendants, and bracelets including the design as well as the practical techniques of metal working. Tuesday 6:00 pm-8:30 pm. Begins in September 19th Responsibilities/Duties Overview of the Position: + Facilitate instruction through the use of slides, lectures, discussion, gallery and museum visitations, written and appropriate art studio projects. + Develop Curriculum + Assess and grade students' work in a timely and professional manner + Participate in Student Learning Outcomes Assessment (SLOA) Process + Attend Professional Development workshops and trainings + Communicate effectively with students as well as the office of English, Humanities, Visual and Performing Arts Required Qualifications + Master's Degree in Fine Arts or related field Preferred Qualifications + Two(2) or three (3) years of teaching experience at a community college
