Adjunct Associate Professor

The Department of Health Sciences in the School of Health Professions invites applications for the position of Part-Time Adjunct Faculty position to assist with the development and implementation of statistics courses in the PhD program.  This position will begin as soon as possible, and will be responsible for teaching courses in the Spring and Summer semesters.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

In conjunction with Departmental leadership, develop statistics course content for a PhD in Health Sciences program. Develop online course modules, including lectures, study materials, and assessments. Develop core curriculum outlines and work with faculty to identify key roles Collaborate with program leadership to develop comprehensive examination materials Create program and course learning objectives aligned with the mission of the program, school and UT Health San Antonio. Other duties as assigned relating to the PhD Program.  

 

Faculty may also engage in collaborative scholarly activities. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in community, professional, and university service activities, as appropriate.  This is a part-time (12 month) adjunct position and reports to the Program Director of the PhD in Health Sciences program. 

 

Qualifications:  The qualified individual should have a Doctoral degree, have experience in an academic medical center setting, and hold or be eligible for licensure if required.
