Summary
Educates students in: general education core; and/or health studies; and/or professional courses by providing instructional experiences that support mission and goals of College and/or program.Under the administrative direction of the Academic Dean and/or general direction of the Program Chair.
Responsibilities
+ Facilitates the creation of a learning environment for student instruction that encourages critical thinking, investigation, self-direction and respect for the uniqueness and strengths of each individual
+ Demonstrates a professional role within the discipline by remaining current with trends, issues and practices.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Education
Desired: Pharm D, PhD in Pharmacology, or PhD in Chemistry preferred.
Minimum: Masters degree in Pharmacology or Chemistry with at least 18 hours beyond a Bachelor's degree in the listed discipline.
Experience
Desired: Work or teaching experience equivalent to three (3) years of post-secondary teaching in the discipline. Prior experience with teaching online is preferred.
Minimum: Prior teaching experience.
