Position Information Position Title Adjunct Faculty - Drama FLSA Exempt Full Time/Part Time Part Time Department Fine Arts Campus Central Campus Location Central Campus Salary PTEA Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 19.5 Summary of Position This job performs instructional work in a variety of fields within the discipline of Drama (e.g., stagecraft, costume design, and makeup). The position includes classroom teaching in one or more of the candidate’s fields of expertise within the discipline. Minimum Required Education Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of 18 graduate hours; with graduate coursework in any of the Drama Tech areas. Outstanding experience/performance in the field(s) taught may count towards part of this requirement. Minimum Required Experience Two years full-time wage earning teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities + Highly skilled in instructional area. + Ability to communicate well and to utilize delivery systems as needed. + Ability to organize information. + Ability to keep accurate and complete records. + Ability to perform in public and assist students to perform in public in drama area taught.
