Position Information Position Title Adjunct Faculty - English FLSA Exempt Full Time/Part Time Part Time Department Communications Campus Central Campus Location Central Campus Salary PTEA Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 19.5 Summary of Position The primary responsibility of this position is to provide effective instruction in English or in Developmental Reading and Writing courses, helping to fulfill the College’s goal of providing a quality education for all students attending CTC . Minimum Required Education Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education including 18 graduate hours in English. Minimum Required Experience Three years full-time wage earning teaching experience at the post-secondary level in an appropriate academic discipline is preferred. Experience with online or technology- enhanced curriculum is preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught. Be able to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, and with varying academic skill levels.
