The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate courses in Elementary and Intermediate Spanish as a Heritage Language (based on academic qualifications). Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments may include day or night classes. Salary: $3000/course. Required Education and Experience: + Master's degree in Spanish or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution. + 18 graduate hours in Spanish. + Teaching Spanish as a Heritage Language experience preferred. + College or University teaching experience preferred. + Experience with first-generation students preferred. + Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting preferred. + Experience in culturally diverse settings preferred. + Completed Ph.D. in Spanish preferred Applications are accepted only through the online job portal at: https://employment.tamusahr.com/applicants/jsp/shared/Welcome\_css.jsp.
