Salary Range: $4,500 per 3-credit course Delivery Method: Face-to-face, online both synchronous or asynchronous, and/or FLEX Duration: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for adjunct faculty to teach for the following: + Adjunct, Business Law The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member of the Business & Hospitality department, eager to support the development of the next generation of professionals. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Teach undergraduate Business Law I and Business Law II course face-to-face. + Topics including but not limited to + Fundamental concepts of the law of business and commerce important to business. + Contracts, agency, and negotiable instruments with emphasis on the Uniform Commercial Code + Legal reasoning and the legal approach to business problems. + Sole proprietorship, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations + Basic concepts of property law including personal property (both tangible and intangible), intellectual property (including Internet issues), real property, and securities regulation + Be aware of, know, understand, and follow all college policies. SEMESTER START/END DATES + Fall 2025 semester, Monday, August 25, 2025, to Friday, December 12, 2025, Grades due Tuesday, December 16, 2025 + Spring 2026 semester, Monday, January 26, 2026, to Friday, May 15, 2026, Grades due Tuesday, May 19, 2026 Brief Description of Course(s): BSAD 108. Business Law 1. (3 Credits) This course incorporates the fundamental concepts of the law of business and commerce important to business. Contracts, agency, and negotiable instruments with emphasis on the Uniform Commercial Code become part of the course. An introduction to legal reasoning and the legal approach to business problems play an important role. 3 credits (3 lecture hours), fall or spring semester BSAD 203. Business Law II. (3 Credits) This course is an in-depth study of business organizations including sole proprietorship, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. Basic concepts of property law including personal property (both tangible and intangible), intellectual property (including Internet issues), real property and securities regulation are covered. 3 credits (3 lecture hours), fall or spring semester Schedule of courses: TBD, will share when available Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications + Master's Degree in Business, Business Law, or related. + Demonstrate successful teaching experience. + Demonstrate experience teaching with technology.
