Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of the college or academic department.

Responsibilities

• Teaching one class session each week
• Holding office hours for one hour each week
• Preparing lectures, assignments, assessments, and course material as needed for the course
• Grading assignments, projects, papers, presentations, and/or exams and providing students with valuable and timely feedback
• Developing or updating modules in Canvas to enhance the student learning experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, Ph.D. preferred
• At least 3 years of teaching experience on subject matter
• Experience with LMS such as Blackboard or Canvas
