Applications for Adjunct Faculty will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed.
Job Summary
This part-time adjunct faculty position requires teaching in-person undergraduate courses in the Athletic Training degree program on an as needed basis.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Face-to-face course delivery and instruction.
+ Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner.
+ Communicate course requirements and expectations to students.
+ Communicate with other program and school-level faculty.
+ Performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Master's Degree or higher in Athletic Training or a related field
+ Mississippi state license or eligible
+ Ability to teach effectively, according to University standards, in the undergraduate and graduate Athletic Training programs
+ Criminal history and background check clearance
+ Uphold the mission and values of USM, College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Health Professions
Preferred Qualifications
+ Teaching, mentoring, and/or service experience at the university level
+ Professional experience in Athletic Training
+ Experience with USM's Learning Management System, Canvas.
