Position Summary:
Instructor for undergraduate courses in legal history or legal studies.
Essential Functions:
Develop and deliver lectures, organize in-class activities relevant to course material, prepare and grade assignments and exams to assess student achievement. Effectively utilize Canvas, NJITâs online course management system. Maintain regular weekly office hours. Submit syllabus, final grades, and other requested information in a timely manner.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Ph.D. or comparable terminal degree in a relevant field. At the university's discretion, education prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position. Preferred Qualifications:
Prior university teaching experience. Evidence of effective teaching.
