University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: Academic Center: School of Arts & Sciences: English **Salary Range or Pay Grade** 11,000 **Description** Adjunct Instructor/Director in the International Theatre Program of the Department of English for the Fall 2025 Semester from 10/1/25-11/30/25 for **ENGL29** **4 Plays in Performance II:** **_The Philosophy of Andy Warhol_** Teaching responsibilities for this appointment will be **ENGL29** **4 Plays in Performance II:** **_The Philosophy of Andy Warhol_** (your adaptation) 4 credits. Your additional duties will include approximately 28 hours of rehearsal per week in connection with this course. Please refer to the following important dates for the production: · Auditions will be held on **Friday & Saturday August 29 & 30, 2025** · Callbacks will be held **Sunday, August 31, 2025** · Rehearsals will begin on **Monday, October 6, 2025** . Standard rehearsal times are Tuesday - Friday from 7pm -11pm, Saturdays from 10am -1pm & 2pm -5pm, and Sundays from 11am -2pm & 3pm -6pm. Mondays are traditionally an Actors' Night Off. · Tech Weekend is scheduled for **Friday, November 14 through Sunday, November 16, 2025.** · Dress Rehearsals are scheduled for **Tuesday, November 18 & Wednesday, November 19, 2025.** · The production opens on **Thursday, November 20, 2025.** · To facilitate a very tight semester schedule, you will have a "Designers Run" on **Monday, October 27, 2025.** The grading of students who are in and/or work on the production will be your responsibility. Rosters and grading should be accessed via the URStudent program and grades will need to be entered prior to the last performance/or the end of your residency.
