Adjunct Lecturer - Communication Disorders & Sciences

Position Summary:
The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions.
Major Responsibilities:
+ Clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on- and off-campus practicum. Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy.
+ Demonstrate a broad range of clinical experiences across the lifespan.
+ Assessment and intervention experiences should include the following: AAC , autism, voice, fluency, aphasia, adult communication disorders, early childhood and school-age speech and language disorders.
+ Demonstrate strong clinical writing skills.
+ Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills with students, clients, families, colleagues and other professionals.
Required Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent.
+ American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s ( ASHA ) Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC ) in speech-language pathology.
+ New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
+ Three years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
+ At least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Clinical supervisory experience
+ Evidence of a commitment to promoting a diverse academic environment.
