Utica University is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach in all disciplines to support programmatic and enrollment growth. There is an immediate need to hire for the Fall 2024 semester for the Construction Management Department.

Major Responsibilities
Adjunct Lecturer of Construction Management to teach the following courses:
CMG 225- Documents and Specifications: Comprehensive overview of construction contracts and legal principles and practices used. Construction law and dispute resolution. Contract clauses, exemptions, liabilities, documentation and records.
CMG 332- Estimating II: Bid strategies based on detailed cost estimating techniques. Work packages for CSI divisions and work breakdown structures. Cost coding and detailed approaches to value engineering. Balanced and unbalanced. Use of specific estimating software.
CMG 447- Project Mamanement and Safety: Administration and management theory, function, and documentation applied to the construction process through practical application of leadership, ethics, organization and staffing. Laboratory exercises in safety procedures, equipment, and OSHA requirements for construction.

Education & Experience Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree or higher required.
+ College Teaching Experience is preferred.
+ Relevant professional experience preferred
