Responsible for maintaining team member HR documentation and benefit records through processing weekly payroll through BJ’s Time and Attendance System and team-member attendance tracking; updating Peoplesoft with team member changes; maintaining and updating benefit status changes and team member performance appraisals; conducting new hire team-member orientations; administering the hiring of temporary employment and communicating to agency representative issues/concerns relating to attendance and performance; answering and responding to basic Team Member questions and concern and maintaining general HR processes such as safety programs and safety shoes.
We are currently hiring for:
+ Weekday "B" Shift: Sunday- Wednesday from 6:00AM to 4:45PM
What you will make: Pay starts at $20.00/hr.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
+ Maintain all team member personnel documentation in and timely, accurate, secured and confidential manner. Coordinate with temporary agencies to fill vacancies.
+ Effectively and timely, communicate issues/concerns relating to attendance and performance to Team Member and management.
+ Manage payroll on a weekly basis through the Workforce Management System (WFM). Provide management with payroll summary for productivity reporting. Track team member and temporary agency attendance and communicate all violations to management.
+ Work with team members in maintaining and updating benefits changes.
+ Manage front end vendor and visitor communication and access.
+ Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
+ Maintains all Distribution Center policies and procedures
+ Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
+ Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
+ Good communication skills and the ability to interact and engage with others
+ Outlook experience, including: Excel and Word
+ Computer Skills required
+ At least 18 years of age.
+ Bilingual preferred, English fluency required
Job Conditions
+ Located in an environment with exposure to changing temperatures, including heat and cold, noise and dust.
+ Perform repetitive, dexterous movements related to computer use and data entry
+ When needed stand, sit, bend, twist, lift for up to 8 hours a day

At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $20.00.
